Lack of spatial-temporal circumscription of multidrug-resistant Rhodococcus equi clone 2287, United States. Principal component analysis plot was constructed on the basis of the single-nucleotide polymorphism variant calls obtained in the phylogenetic analysis. Isolates are identified by resistance group and color-coded by geographic origin (A) or year of isolation (B). MRR, dual macrolide/rifampin resistant; PC1, principal component 1; PC2, principal component 2.
