ORCiD

Provide ORCiD Persistent Digital Identifiers

Starting on January 1, 2020, Emerging Infectious Diseases requests that all submitting and corresponding authors (may be the same person) enter their ORCiD persistent digital identifiers in ScholarOne as part of the manuscript submission process.

EID also encourages all authors who have not yet done so to register for an ORCiD persistent digital identifier and refer to it in their ScholarOne account. These identifiers are quick and easy to obtain and offer several advantages to the journal, its authors, and its readers.

You may also register for ORCiD through the link provided on the login page for ScholarOne.
